The stockings are Satnta Mickey themed, and they have a youth version and a teen/adult version. I am so excited!!! I ordered the tree and two stocking! The tree is 185 plus tax and the stockings are 84 plus tax. Call them now if you want to order one. They said that they are going fast.

I was hoping it could be ready on the 14th because then we could enjoy it during our 2 night stay there along with the other goodies I ordered. Kind of loses its magic to have to lug it around to the other hotels and set it up myself. Sigh... We don't stay at the resort too often but as special splurges we do. The last time was in 2002 and I ordered a tree that time too. We are going with my 80 something yr old MIL who has never been to the resort during the holidays and she's not in the best of health so this trip I am trying to make it really special for her.

We didn't get any lights for our tree as we don't use your voltage power in Australia, so what would I do with them after Christmas and I just didn't get time to buy some battery ones while at the resort. They tree would look great all light up at night but it's still very pretty without the lights as well. I think I will bring some battery ones with me this year.

Gee, now I guess I don't have to make that decision

In the christmas section, they had an assortment of Disney stockings from $10 for Mickey ones to $15 ones that sang with Mickey and Tigger! Very cute and someone else posted that they had "premade" boxed trees in either Tinkerbell style or Princess style with all the lights and trimmings already on it! I am with you in that I would want it the first night! Esp for all the money, who would want it delivered their last night? It just doesn't make sense. Skip their tree this time, get a cheapie one at target and then splurge on something really nice you can only get at DL!

Actually it's even worse because Brad was telling me that maybe it'd be ready on the morning of checkout. I had to give him my cell number so he could let me know whether it'd be delivered to my room or if I had to pick it up from Guest something or other. I felt even worse being told I'd maybe need to do a pick up. In the back of my mind, I was wondering if I was going to get charged a gratuity for having to pick up my own tree. LOL. I didn't want to ask him. Yeah, I know I'll be able to keep the tree forever but somehow it just wouldn't have the memories of having MIL being surprised. I think my DH tho' will be really surprised when he finds out he's been saddled with one more piece of baggage to carry around to the other hotels. We have 3 more nights after we leave the DLH so I guess we can still enjoy the tree. Thanks guys for the sympathy. I feel a lot better for your guys support. Mahalo Tinkerbell77 for allowing me to whine. Glad you are all set for your trip. Michele
