At least it's not the Under New Management show. And that's about all you can say for WDW these days. "Well, it's not great, but it could've been a lot worse..."

I can only imagine that Holmes and Ad/Lib management wanted to push through as many people as possible so they can get to waiting 75 for Tink to spend money on PhotoPass. 2-3 min out of a 15 min show is alot.

If anything, I would cut an entire song (likely Let's All Sing..., but I like the Birdmobile too much to do that) rather than random verses. The overall show pacing does seem to work well, but if folks are going to leave in the middle, I'm not sure what else could be done to stop that. On my last couple visits in DL, I've noticed a strangely high number of groups leaving early (4 or 5, rather than none or one), so maybe it's a good decision. I really can't say until I at least see a video, or get a chance to see it in person (which will be quite a while).

That said, even if this show is shorter than the DL one, isn't it still significantly longer than the New Management show?

Whether in Disneyland or WDW, I always see a handful of walk-outs, and I figure that if we were given the show in its totality, the show would be even more prone to walk-outs.

Apathy AND disdain. Yes, there are actual people who HATE the Bears and find Pirates and Mansion "boring" and "sucked". YUP. Let's not even go into guests reactions to the Jungle Cruise.

Disney really should have just gone taken it's time, and gone back to the drawing board on this one. Maybe replacing some of the old numbers with new ones? Just cutting parts is hardly the solution.

When the Room was "under new management," I recall getting up and walking out when Iago entered. Last night, I stayed for the whole thing!

    The Gods are pleased.

I would have done just the opposite.

Any show beyond 4 minutes better have pyro and/or confetti cannons, or some in the audience get antsy.
