Besides, I'd trust you all way more than a book.

So here's the deal... Mark and I are planning on going to WDW in May. We have never been on a vacation like this just the two of us. Friends and family are always involved. Its worked out this time that its just going to be us.

I want to know some of the more romantic things to do and places to eat in Disney World. I'm not sure what our budget is yet as I may be getting a bonus in April, so feel free to include all price ranges. I'm looking forward to hearing some ideas!

If you can afford it have dinner at Victoria and Albert's in the Grand Floridian.

I recommend enjoying Wishes from a hammock on the Polynesian Beach. A carriage ride around Port Orleans. Also the luau at the Poly is quite romantic.

Dinner in World Showcase - anywhere is great. Also, clubbing at Boardwalk and PI.

Cuddle up at the fireplaces at either AKL or WL. Have a great time.

Also, I recommend staying at either a deluxe, or Port Orleans for romantic accommodations.

Since my wife is a huge Lady and the Tramp fan, we had breakfast at Tony's, which I found to be another surprisingly romantic spot, well, at least 15 years ago.

Also I love the idea about the fireplaces. We didn't have a chance to visit AKL last time and I'd really like to see it.

    These are super, guys!

Never saw a single kid @ Jiko, and the only kid I saw at V&A's was a little child of about 6 or 7 with IMPECCABLE manners dining with his mum & dad.

It seems just about ever restaurant I went to on this recent trip had screaming kids in it. The ONLY exception was the Big River Grille and Brewing Company... no kids were there. so that was great. While I was at Boma they seated a young couple from the Philly area who had pierced noses. They were also vegitarians. So a cook came over to tell them what they could eat and not eat. The cook told them she would make some kind of mushroom dish for them since just about everything on the menu at Boma had some form of meat, fish in it.
I got so tired of the screaming kids. On thursday, February 1 st. I wore my Salem, MA Fire Dept tee shirt into the Magic Kingdom. I was talking with one of the security people while walking into the park and he said he was a retired Fire Man from New Jersy. I told him in Salem we burn witches. He said where he was from they burned apartment homes. LOL.
Later that night is when my party ate at the Big River Grille and Brewing Works and I specifically requested a seat where there were no screaming kids. The host and hostest said "good luck". My responce was, "Can I burn them". I know I can be so mean. LOL

By thursday I was so over the screaming kids. You would not believe how many parents had thier children in strollers while attending the Extra Magic Hours ans such. I just could not believe dragging your child through a theme park at 11 PM at night!

For easting, it's fun to do the Sci-Fi diner for lunch. Sitting in a car watching B-Movie clips is great for a non-expensive alternative.

If you want a great meal at a nice place, but don't want to drop $200, check out Le Cellier or the Chinese sit down restaurant in EPCOT.

It can quite romantic at smaller places, too. Casey's rings a bell if you sit outside by the castle, as does Pecos Bill's if you eat near the back, away from the hubbub of the crowds.

Things can be romantic without being 100% alone.

However, if you want 100% alone, I've heard stories about signing up for things like the dinner on the boat rentals or whatever I read. Maybe it was at EPCOT, either way, that woudl be tha bizzomb!

Okay, I managed to miss the "and the tramp fan" the first time I read this lol!

I still think a ride on the carousel would be quite romantic, but that is just me. Also, for me, just strolling around Epcot's world showcase when it is lit up at night is an amazing experience, especially if you hang back awhile after Illuminations and the crowd has had time to dissipate.

Ride the TTA a lot...you cna be fairly alnoe there for extended periods of time.

Watching the ELP in a lounge chair on the beach with a chilled bottle of wine or your drink of choice. Snuggle up to the fireplace on the 4th floor over the entrance. A great place for a late night beverage before you retire for the evening. Really anyplace can be romantic at WDW if you make it. I personally like walking hand in hand down the path in Epcot lined with roses going back to the World Showcase at night, and the little red phone booth in Great Britain for a semi-private kiss of passion in the night time.

Might be romantic but not the best food if you're used to large metropolitan areas with good Chinese restaurants. IMHO :)

Walking around the lake outside the Yacht Club is great. Catch a romantic kiss on the little pier that goes out to the mini-lighthouse.

Love the English pub in Epcot for lunch. Very few, if any, little kids and you have a great view of the water. Eat inside or out.

Wherever you stay, go order take out breakfast from your resort and eat either out on your balcony or someplace on the grounds.

Take a mid-day break in the park you're in. Eat a snack on a quiet shady bench and take a breather noting that you can and don't have to take care of your family, lol.
