I'm figuring hurricane season SHOULD be over? How's the November weather in Central FL?

When do the holiday decorations go up at WDW? We would probably go early November and avoid the Thanksgiving rush.

Just real early thinking right now (haven't even suggested the subject to DH yet). I'm hoping to get an idea of the timing from you WDW experts. Being Californians, we're more frequent visitors, and have better knowledge of, DLR.

    Thanks a bunch.

Enjoy as that was the time of our first trip to WDW so we have special feelings fot that time of year.:)

I think I'm going to have to start broaching the subject with DH this evening and looking at resorts/availability.

It sounds like we won't have much trouble, though. We're definitely fans of small crowds.

As for hurricanes. they are unpredictable so It is hard to tell but usually late in the year is not very active

Low crowds....Food & Wine Festival.....Outstanding weather....You really cant beat it...

Late Fall has traditionally been one of the "unsung" times of year, so to speak, but for the last 8 years it has rapidly become one of the busiest, and more expensive times of year at WDW.

The "Regular" season now begins in October as opposed to early November.

Before long the "low season" will be athing of the past.

I couldn't agree more. The weather is great, you'll feel like you have the place to yourself, and the Xmas decorations start going up.

The second the Jack'o lanterns come down the Santa Mickeys go up. I remember cheking out on Nov. 6 '04 and they had turned the BW lobby into Christmas overnight.

We have been going in November for the last 2 years and love it. No crowds, lots of room in the parks, we will be going back this November, but leave before Thanksgiving.:)

I'd go back during the same time in a minute.

I can't speak to the weather, but Thanksgiving is Thursday, November 23. Those Thansgiving crowds will probably be gone in time for your arrival.

    Enjoy! ºoº
