    First, where do you go?
Second, what do you spend your money on?

I wonder because ten years ago, I would have come away with gobs of souvenirs and have an upset tummy from all the cheap food. Now I would probably spend more than half on decent dining. And for the record, I have done a whole day of WDW on a whole lot less than that and had a blast.

The other night, I was watching some episodes of the Brady Bunch, the ones where they visit the Grand Canyon. Mike stops to buy gas, and spends like $7.50 to fill the tank. Inflation is the reason why you can't buy as much with $200 now. You would need to have about $275 to make a fair comparison.

Disney has never had cheap food.

If you already have tickets not taken from this$200.00. You can buy a burger and fries and coke for lunch, times two for about $8.50 each. Easy to do a day at WDW for $100.00 per person. I have done it for less.

Meaning two people can stay in one room for $79.00, not $79.00 each.

My fave place to eat at MK is Pecos Bill you can get all sorts of good stuff there, a wrap or a salad or the best darn cheeseburger & fixins bar in the wilderness! Epcot has tons of wonderful selections.. Yakatori is my fave and they have excellent curry or chicken or beef teriyaki with rice. Just don't order the LARGE green tea unless you want to share or are really freakin' thirsty. Epcot LARGE is large! =) Also Tangerine Cafe is great too!

At MGM for breakfast I would go to the Starring Rolls for cinnemon rolls & coffee.

Great souvenirs: refillable mug (although for one night $11 bucks isn't really worth it but it's good for your stay if you are going longer.. and still would be a good souvenir for your trip). I always get a $4.00 magnent of the resort I stayed at if there is one available.. postcards are still ok to send to friends. The bigger ones are pricier but they are also larger and better quality photos than some of the ones you can get elsewhere even in the multipack sets. For example the Polynesian postcard was around 1.50 which is pricey for me but I love the image on it and with a regular stamp for postage it's still something nice to send home.

Depending on what you want to get.. say $50 for food for one day is more than enough for one person and $50 for souvenirs.. you can get a tshirt, a couple postcards, maybe a couple magnents and if you chip in you & your friend can get one of those souvenir photos from one of your favorite rides.

It's more than enough.. and if you camp it at Ft Wilderness it's even more affordable (I don't suggest camping in the winter though unless you don't mind.. it rains and gets chilly at night).
