We were at EPCOT last weekend (before the 4th) and EPCOT was surprisingly slow. 3) The Star Wars special edition MagicBands did not sell as well as Disney as well as they had hoped. Yoda is still available and Darth was available up till about a week ago. I also heard from a reliable source that Disney's profit margin on purchased MagicBands are surprisingly small 4) The summer Frozen even at the Studios was designed, built and opened in less then a month from start to open. It happened so fast that several departments at Disney was caught unaware and had to play catch up quickly. Some found out when the announcement was made. 5) Frozen MagicBands are not special/limited editions and will be available for a while. There are several more Frozen designs still to be released. The ones being released this week are just the first wave. 6) The wait time for the Frozen meet and greet is insane. Must be nice to be able to afford Disney tickets and then stand on line for 3 hours to meet them. 7) I heard from a good source that Flamingo Crossings is dead again. The 2 Marriott hotels that are supposed to go there may or may not happen but Disney has no desire to build anything else beyond the possible hotels. The roads that were put in for the original plan are mainly used by CM's going to work and Disney does not see it as a viable plan at the moment.

I'm surprised that people are actually buying the non-special edition ones (since they offer no actual advantage over the standard-issue card) but I've never really understood a lot of what people buy I'm not too surprised that Flamingo Crossing is dead again. That project was a head scratcher when it was announced, and has only become more strange with the economy. Such a waste of funds and undeveloped land!
