For reference, look no further than the great commodities depression of 1980-2000 and what preceded it. Back in the late 70's, oil/gold/other commodities were at sky high prices much like now. Then, things changed. BUT, even if it is somewhat of a speculative bubble right now, the fact that the BEAR MARKET for commodities lasted 20 years makes me wonder if we are really near the end of the reversal now, after only 8 years.
