This is going in this forum because I think that it's pertinent on how our show should be treated...

    My reaction and thoughts?

    Oh, good God.

    Speechless.

    That's utterly fantastic.

You want to see how IllumiNations should be plussed and re-orchestrated, and plussed, and brought into it's second decade of shows? THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT.

Well done, Tokyo. You continue to impress.

(And there's a tiny little shred of me wondering if we just saw a preview of what's to come for RoE if and when it gets its enhancements...)

Nice vid though, brings back memories. :)

And with TDO, there's none of that... usually.

However, I have heard good things about having RoE plussed... Maybe for a new Nightastic run.

That was nice, but I must confess, I am definately a firework kind of guy. It looked quite dull to me until the countdown. Still, better than PAris' entertainment. And you should see how they use Celebrate the Future Hand in Hand in Paris - the characters dance to it in the foyer of the Disneyland Hotel.

That's only the mid-section of a 45-50 minute show Dave, the fireworks are bigtime afterwards (as is the exciting entry show and exit show...you're seeing only the "grandiose" section, which I agree can be a bit tedious...but in the moment it works pretty well (TDL is still better though imho...the parade is much more elaborate as you watch virtually ALL of your favorite characters come marching through).

Our local amusement park as well as the city of Pittsburgh also used this music for fireworks shows a few years ago. I wonder how they're able to do this legally or is it just readily available if ASCAP fees are paid???

I'm searching for that.... but youtube in french isn't too helpful. LOL

That's pretty weak until about 9:45 when it finally syncs up. Looks like a early Disneyland show when they got the 9-line in. LOL.

I might be biased, though... If you use a theme from RoE it should be just as good!

It needs pyro, I agree. But the lasers? And the lights? And the redone music? RoE needs that.

I heard it's simply not the same since Mr X no longer appears in it.
