(It's available on Amazon too.) My Sweetie and I got there right around 6:00 and had time to buy a couple of his books. We got the "A to Z" book and also "Bottomless Cocktail" because it has Sweetie's fave Shag print "Wives with Knives." We were only a few people back in line, and waited a just a couple of minutes. He was very personable, making conversation with everyone. When we got to the front, he noticed Sweetie's Tiki Room Hawaiian shirt and mentioned that the fabric maker had contacted him to see if he wanted the leftovers from that run of fabric (Cool! Tiki drapes?) and also that he had finished up a Haunted Mansion collection of 13 different prints for the HM's anniversary next year. (Double cool!) While he was signing the Bottomless Cocktail book, I mentioned it had Sweetie's favorite print because he's a Mason (it's a Shriner print), so while he was chatting with us about that, he added an extra little Shriner hat with the Masonic symbol as part of the autograph! How cool is that?! He was so fun! And has such pretty white teeth. Such a nice person! We really enjoyed meeting him. Everything about him was just coooool. From the vintage Hawaiian shirt, layered under a checked blazer, to his rad art, to his welcoming personality. We had the BEST time.
