    He constantly claimed it was the weather and Al Lutz that doomed DCA and that it was a perfectly fine park that, Disney was thrilled with. Even in '07 when they announced the DCA 1.2 Billion Dollar Extreme Makeover, just before he checked out of the Disney Internet scene, he was claiming that "they do this to all of their parks". He simply didn't want to admit he was very wrong, and that critics like Al Lutz had at least a few valid points about DCA that were obviously being addressed and admitted to publicly by the Disney CEO.

    This weather.com jibe would absolutely kill him. If he was still here. Which he's not. Or at least won't admit he's not.

    Ah, jonvn, how we almost kind of miss you. And fabdisbabe too. Kind of. Almost.

    To say that weather had no bearing on the initial reaction to DCA is silly. Weather always plays a factor in theme park attendance. Another point that DCA's critics are quick to forget is that DL's attendance was down in 2001. While no one can deny that DCA missed the mark, 2001 was not a good year for theme parks in general.
