While people as part of a crowd are hard to pick out, I'm not really sure I want strangers watching me ride Splash. It's just a little creepy. Also, those would get kind of stale after the park closes or on slow where there are a lot of empty seats. I wouldn't mind a webcam that showed a viewing area for a show (ROA, Hyperion, etc), but the close up is just a little too stalker-ish for me.

A webcam is just a constant commercial. I think it would be that Disney wouldn't want one in the park because of things like the flag retreat, parade, and other events. It's one thing for the Hojo to have one, where you can see the fireworks, but inside would totally negate the magic of the park.

Cal. before they go to the weather maps. Most of the time it looks down on Rivers of America and you can see the Mark Twain, etc. Sometimes, they turn the camera to face east and you can see the castle and Matterhorn.

They are extended (I think about 10 or 15 minute) shots of the castle, Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, etc. With sound. You can just loop them. My wife and kids thought I was nuts when I put it on. I told them to think of it as an aquarium, or the fireplace DVD. It's not a webcam, but it's still pretty cool.
