I dropped my stuff and headed straight to DCA. I decided to start with Grizzly River Run since I'd gotten hot and sweaty just getting there and I figured I'd cool off. Turned out to be a mistake. The ride was fun of course and I did cool off but my shoes got soaked and I ended up with a blister because of it. Luckily it didn't bother me too much. I realized while the ride was under way that the last thing I'd done on my last Disney trip at Disney World was Kali River Rapids. Since they are pretty much the same thing I found that to be interesting. Next I headed to Paradise Pier and went on the Silly Symphony Swings. I'd been looking forward to those. I liked it when it was the Orange Stinger but the new theming is so much better even if The Band Concert isn't a Silly Symphony. Then I went on Mickey's Fun Wheel which I missed last trip. I thought about going California Screamin but the line was too long. At this point I realized I really should eat. I'd had a pretty small lunch at work. While I was trying to figure out what I wanted I went and saw It's Tough to Be a Bug. Fun as always, its my favorite 3D show. Then I got a Fast Pass for Tower of Terror (which I ended up not using) and finally got a hot dog at Award Weiners. Then I went on Soarin using the single rider line. I got on the front row for the first time. Then I went and watched the second showing of World of Color from the side at Ariel's Grotto. If that's your only option its still good from there but I could only see some of the screen images. After that it was 10:30 and I decided to skip Tower of Terror and get to bed so I could get an early start the next day. It was a good start to the trip. More later.
