    Glad you had fun!

    Disneyland begs to differ.

Looking strictly at theme park vs theme park, I would agree with you.

However, as a "total package" resort, nothing comes close to DisneyWorld.

DLP has just ONE golf course? WDW has 4 iirc,

And you could throw in a mini-golf course and a couple of water parks and you would STILL not come close to the SCOPE of WDW, which is my main point.

Although I'd love to visit DLP someday. :)

    They each have something unique.

The main reason people go to the swamps is for the parks. And of them Epcot and DAK are WDW's crown jewels IMHO.

    THAT'S impressive.

As for your pithy swamps comment, that would be true of ALL the Disney resorts wouldn't it?

But once you're there, the question is how much other stuff is available.

The scope of "the swamps" goes beyond any other themed resort in the world. There is literally something for everyone, and it's essentially a fully functional resort "city".

You can't say that about the others (not even Paris).

But Epcot and Disneyland, even wdw's MK are two completely different things, like, entertainment wise. Not saying's one better than the other, they just both laid out new tracks for the theme park industry

Pretty much - they are a lot of designer boutiques, so unless you are in FNAC (think French Tower Records/Virgin/HMV) or Auchen (French Walmart), they are unique things.

They have live entertainment too. It is quite cool. Most people do not even realise it is a Disney design town.

But nope, WDW used to be cool, and a couple of the parks are, but if I wanted to golf, or sail, or do most of the other things non park or hotel related, there are better places to go.

The parks are what it is about. And the MK is probably the 2nd weakest of that style after Hong Kong.
