I can't take credit for that idea, as I spotted it on another thread here years ago I think, but I'm sure the boys will have tons of fun with it! (Not to mention the adults who are just big kids ourselves!)

    Have a blast!

And my final and even weirder tip. . . don't pack any new, unwashed socks for the trip. The one and only time I ever got a blister during many Disney trips was the time I foolishly threw a new package of socks in the suitcase and wore them right out of the package. Ouch. Never again do I wear new socks without pre-washing them!

It can also be used even before you have any symptoms as a preventative measure. It is marketed for people traveling by air, where you're exposed to everyone's germs in the recirculated air inside a plane.

It's a great way to make the trips really special and they play with their new stuff while we are getting dressed in the morning. Started almost 10 years ago when staying at DH with the Tink wallpaper but now she can go to whatever hotel we stay at and sometimes follows us home the night we return!
Gosh my 10 year old still believes in TInkerbell (well and Santa too.) I have so much fun doing this and the kids NEVER ask for one thing in the park the whole time.

I still let them pick one "good" thing to buy on the last day though-lol-so I can shop while I am there and they are "looking" for that last day goodie. I guess it depends on your kids ages, but if you already have the stuff, try it.

It's so fun to see their faces in the am! I usually set things up so the toys are the first thing they see. The Disney store here has big sales on Tuesday so I get lots of stuff for !/2 price and we see the same thing in the park. I try to give a stuffed thing the first night so they have something to sleep with and then usually one shirt that goes along with the theme of the day-lol. Like stitch shirts when we do the Stitch Breakfast. I always get those spinning flashlights too.

Sounds like you already have stuff so it should be easy for you. One other thing, since the lines are so so long when we go, I pack stuff like bubbles, small treats, disposable cameras for the kids to use and let them play video games in line. It is the ONLY time we let them play video games in public, we are really strict and only allow it on Sat. Am but it really helps in the lines. I think it is a lot to ask a 6 year old to stand in line for even an hour without some kinds of distractions, not to mention over and over again each day all day long.

One last thing, this time of year, we always pack those thin rain $2.00 ponchos "just in case" and then also use them on splash and grizzly. They take no space and are light to carry but dd never liked getting wet and wouldn't go on wet rides until I discover this.

Okay, sorry this is too much! Have a wonderful time!!

Its fun. Its just something that adds to the Disney magic. Mostly, I now leave her a collection of the trading pins since she is so into collecting them. She has two cases full and is going strong.

Anyone else interested in the pin trading should pick up Tomart's latest guide. My daughter is planning on studying it before our next trip so she can be on the "lookout" for the good pins! Its like a scavengar hunt for her to find the best pins she can throughout the park, which in a way is an activity within itself.

Also, about 2 times a year Disney Direct has some fantastic deals on their pins, which are tradeable in the park. I usually stock up big time when they have a sale. Pins go for $3.99-5.99 that regularly sell upwards to $12.95-14.95. They are also higher quality pins IMHO.

    Just another idea....

LOL! My oldest daughter is 24 and SHE still "believes" because in our family-if you don't believe Santa/Tinkerbelle etc doesn't come!

One trip I picked up a couple of sweatshirts on Disney Direct at a good discount and hide them in the armoire when we arrived at the hotel. After we returned from the park that night my son discovered them while helping me unpack. He was convinced that those wonderful Disney folks had left the surprise for us.

I also like to have special items delivered through Vacation Planning. On our upcoming trip (10 days to go) we'll have the cookies & milk, tuxedo strawberries, and some Disney dollars delivered.

You must have a LOT better luck than me!!

Either way, isn't pin trading fun?!
