Whatever they're giving away, they haven't given up anything in their lifestyle. A "normal" person will have to give up a lot when giving anything away. You can feel it.

I don't have a Bible on me right now, but the parable is a rich man and a poor widow give money to the temple. The rich man gives a large amount. The widow just gives a few coins. Jesus then says that the widow gave more, because the rich man gave from his bounty (his surplus) while the widow gave from her need.

"We are very pleased today to be making a commitment to invest 100 percent of all future proceeds to the Virgin Group from our transportation interest, both our trains and airline businesses, into tackling global warming," Branson told a news conference at the Clinton Global Initiative in New York. "We have to wean ourselves off our dependence on coal and fossil fuels. Our generation has the knowledge, it has the financial resources and as importantly it has the will power to do so." Yipeee!!!! Good ole Clinton. Good old democrats, and humanitarians, and futurists.

The big charity is Global Warming. It's a big boondoggle to industries. The 3 billion will be spent on things that may not affect the weather in any way. Is he willing to bet his money on something many (not all or most) scientists dispute? It's his money but Liberals always want a seat at the table so why not criticize it?

So, i mean in this case this fellow isn't insulting jesus and giving to his church. I'm sure he is also giving to his church, but the point is he is giving his 3 billion back to society, to the customers who gave him his money for services rendered. It's him doing his best to help spread life, instead of like bush, who spreads death with his money and power. And the venezulean fellow can make fun of bush all he wants to, he isn't my anything, he is a known traitor, who only my enemy respects. That doesn't mean chavez should have any form of nuclear power. But the known traitor, george bush, has caused so much suffering around the world, that anyone who wants to, can make fun of him. I think that is what he is for anyway, a punching bag. Sort of like the person taking your order at macdonald's, who you yell at, but you know they are just working for minimum wage, and have nothing to do with the decision making process. I mean you can get upset if they press the button with the big mac on it, instead of the salad you wanted, but the item and price appears on a screen on the opposite side of the cash register now, so the customer can precheck all they want. Ah, MacDonald's, what a great american institution. The exquisite quick cuisine still thrills me. The one near disneyland on ball road, has stools now. I prefer half standing to sitting all the time. I haven't had backpains since i started getting out of my chair every 20 minutes and doing a few things, before sitting down again.
