I really like the story about the building of the Contemporary. The truth is that they built the rooms one at a time offsite, and slid them into place like drawers. The myth is that they can be taken out and refurbished offsite, and then brought back in. There has been enough settling in the structure to where it's no longer possible to take a room out. Not that they ever planned to do this anyway . . . Another fun one is that the top portion of Cinderella Castle can be removed and stored in the event of a hurricane. Totally untrue.

Of course, even under present conditions, it might be possible, in the event of devastation of a whole section of the hotel, to build the replacement rooms off-site even as the ruined rooms are being demolished.

Remember each room module also included the hallway and railing outside the room. Kinda hard to take that out a chunk at a time.

They have kept it a secret because they are afraid the everyone will want to drink the water to transform into a "sorta" Walt Disney clone. You can't make that stuff up!!
