I started these books years ago, read the first two about 17 years ago. Read the 3rd last year, and picked up the 4th about a month ago. Had to make a trip to B&N to get this one. It's addicting. (Part of me wishes I had started all over again though - some of it has gotten a little lost in my head over the years).

I really like Stephen King especially when he does things like The Stand, Green Mile and these books.

I get compulsive about finishing books I start, but I'm not sure I'm going to make it through this one. The basic premise is that unstructured outdoor play is healthy for children. I'm okay with that, but do we really need a whole chapter on the beneficial effects of building treehouses?

How are you liking it? I enjoyed it, though "The Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove" is still my favorite. Moore's touring right now; I get to see him at a reading/signing next week. I'm told he puts on a good show.

I started "The Raising of a President" by Doug Wead. (I think that's the right spelling of the author's name.) I'm not getting through it at fast as "Marley and Me", but I'm learning a lot of interesting things!

I like it a lot, although it is not "tears running down my face from laughing" as was "Lamb" My personal favorite was "Bloodsucking Fiends."

I was fortunate enough to meet Moore at two Independent Booksellers conventions. He is great in person.
