I miss his columns, too. We don't get them in our paper, but I get them emailed from Miami Herald. Does anyone remember that one he did about theme parks? It was classic. One of my most wonderful girl freinds in college was named Laurie. Then I married a great lady with a different name, but when I was accepted by my agent and that was her name - I told her that her name had brought me good luck in the past. Luckily, she had a good sense of humor and we have hit it off wonderfully over the past four years. My first book, though not a break-away success, did fairly well, and she had the faith in it to promote it and find me a publisher. Laurie's really a great lady in my opinion.
