    Ok, I´ll start.

Well, considering my list is ridiculously long and by no means will I ever get to visit them all, I´ll TRY to pick what would be me first 5.

    1-Moscow
    2-New Delhi, and its surroundings
3-China (it has so much to see I just can´t narrow it down)
    4-New England
5-Mendoza, Argentina near the Andes (it´s my mom´s hometown and I STILL haven´t been there, shameful)

Of course, I have loads of European cities too but I´ll probably end up doing those first since they´re closer!

    5) Greece.

That's in order of how much I'd LIKE to go (say if I won megamillions next month), not how likely it is that I'll get there and/or when.

    There, that sounds better! :)

And I think you´re right Mr X, it is a bit broad. Australia was also on my ridiculously long list but it just didn´t make my first 5 list... nothing against you all down under!

Sorry... two things kept it off my list:

    1) Much harder to get to.
    2) A far shorter (civilized) history than the other countries on my list.

P.S. If I could get to Australia for the same price as Germany I would go there first!

    ;-)

I can't believe I forgot about Australia! That's definitely in my top list (maybe top 10 though).

    EXCELLENT list here, Dave.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Hong Kong (AMAZING!), and I spent a summer in Vancouver (STUNNING), and a year in San Francisco (VERY cool city)...

The others though, sound great and are on my "must see" list for sure.

Washington D.C. is where my sister lives, and I'll probably be seeing it for the first time in December (unfortunately, only for a few days!).

We're also returning to Montreal in November, jealous? :p

I'm surprised you omited 2 cities from that list...NYC (must see in my book, as a freakin AMAZING microcosm of the entire planet), and your very own London!

p.s. do you REALLY want to travel to antarctica? REALLY?

    p.p.s. REALLY?

I really want to check out Antartica. It's the only continent I have yet to visit, and I love breath taking geography/topography. I would love to visit the moon too. I had the chance to go golfing there when I was a teen, but opted to sail in the tall ships race to Gibralter instead (scheduling clash). Also, when Top Gear here in the UK recently drove to the North Pole (that's right, crazy - it was a race - car vs dog sled - car won, it looks like the polar tundra of Antartica could be a real challenge of human endurance.

One day maybe. I do love Alaska, Iceland and Finland.
