What can you take into the park?

    If anyone in your party has a special diet: ie diabetes, allergies etc. they have to let you take in your own food. I personally have never had a problem and I always take in quite a bit. I have had the CM inspecting my bag joke about it. Last visit we took in a loaf of French bread, bought turkey legs and made sandwiches for all.

    I always take snacky things and water bottles in my fanny pack (nerdy I know but I don't care). They've never said *boo* to me.

    Last year and this year, we have taken subway sandwhiches into the park. The inspectors have seen the sandwhiches when the open the backpack and say that it's sounds great for lunch and that's about it. We also take in fruit, veggies, granola bars and popcorn in baggies.

    btw Im 6'5 so I can carry this easily ;p

    We were never told we couldn't use ours but then the only times we did use our tripod we were not in crowded situations.
    We had Balcony seating for Fantasmic and used it there no worries and got great footage.
    If you were going to block someone's view with a tripod then I think that's not appropriate

    We used our monopod to film the parade as it makes holding the video camera much easier to hold for long periods of time!

    I was just at DL on Oct,7+8. On our way in the first day I actually saw a family with a LOT of food being escorted to the picnic area outside of the park. So I guess there is a point where they decide it is too much.

    No kidding. You have to be reasonable. I guess if the family was hauling a HUGE cooler than yep, go to the picnic area. I like eating on Tom Sawyers Island. Very peaceful.
