WDW - Osborne Lights are absolutely an amazing experience. Never before have I seen so many Christmas lights, it really is beautiful. Candlelight at Epcot is nice too. DLP - The tree lighting ceremony (while a fraction of what it once was with the lights of winter and fireworks) is just lovely. DLP also used to have an amazing Christmas parade set to the Nutcracker Suite, sadly it too disappeared 5 years ago. But Mickey's Winter Wonderland is lovely, seeing Mickey and Minnie Figureskate together. and yes, Small World Holiday is also at DLP as well as DL, and it is delightful. But I am not a fan of the crowds or weather at that time of year.

I really love WDW at Christmastime, but I haven't been back since they bailed on the LofW. It seems like such a small part of the holiday decor, but Epcot just won't be the same without it. The last time we were there we were doing just that (minus the music) and were joined by a lovely older couple from Australia and it was wonderful just talking and hearing about their experiences over the years. They were somewhat sad as they said it would probably be their last trip. But they were enjoying every minute. So I guess the people you meet in the parks, holidays or no, can be a big perk.
