It's going to be either a moderate winner or a really big loser.

I am sure that the film buffs here know that the Maltese Falcon had been made twice previously before the classic 1941 version (1931: The Maltese Falcon, 1936: Satan Met a Lady). The much discussed remake of The Wizard of Oz makes no sense, as the 1939 version is definitive. Black Hole and TRON, on the other hand, could yet yield a great, great film. Or not. We will see!

Cause otherwise, geeks like me would be blowing a lot of money nationwide on 30th Anniversary Tron DVD sets.

Just like DLandDug, my bet is that it will be released in a Blu-Ray collector's edition about the same time as when the sequel is released on Blu-Ray, probably in the spring near Easter.

Watched it again the next night surrounded with friends my age and could hardly believe how painfully cheesy it all looked.

It might do well at the box because of the WOW! factor visually, but I'm not expecting a billion dollar movie. I doubt there are enough ComicCon fanbois around the globe to pull that off.

There was a little buzz before the game was release, but once the game was released that quickly died. (Did you play the game? I remember it being very mediocre)
