If you get a good bead on a diamond or triangle, keep hitting it repeatedly. Also, if your car slows down or stops, keep shooting at the highest value target within range. The scoring does not stop when the attraction stops. Keep an eye out for lighted targets. They are being triggered by home players, who "help" players in the game. There are random bonuses for hitting a lighted target. The "jack-in-the-box" has a low target on the outside. Hit it, and the lid pops open to reveal a diamond, then alien "jack" pops up to reveal a triangle. There is also a circle near the exit of the same room (on the left) that reveals an easy-to-hit diamond target. In the last room, there is a "discarded toy" on the floor behind the cars, as they face Buzz and Zurg. Hit the circle on it, and a triangle target pops up, within a few feet of your car. Blast away. There are also two hidden targets, in the figures of Zurg. There is a line running doen the center of his chest. Just below the front of his cape, on the line, there is a very small, dark cirle. Shoot directly into that circle, and you will get 50,000 points. You may also get multiple shots of this target. Good luck. (My high score is 1,272,000.)

AND... there is also a hidden tribute to the former tenant of the Circle-Vision building. Above the tunnel, in the dark, if you look closely as you circle Zurg and Buzz, you can see the sun and moon from the Delta pre-show of long ago. Oh! And "LGM" isn't a player. It is a default that pops in when a high scoring player fails to stop at the photo capture. If you are a high scorer, when you locate your photo you get a prompt screen to enter your initials. If you are THE top score, your photo is displayed, too. If you do not stop, the initials "LGM" (Little Green Men) appear.

A score like that one at that late at night was probably a maintenance person.
