We're having the Boston Marathon on next Monday, suppose to be rainy/snowy/cold, you'd feel right at home. Come on across. Country that is.

Now that I've dropped to college weight, I want to lose antoher 8 pounds or so and start building up again. The running will help me to cut up and lose the excess weight that I don't want. I've always wanted to run a marathon, but I've never run any more than a 5k. I've done several of those, but I'm ready for teh challenge! 20 weeks of training will get me in shape for it!

I also watch my fat calorie intake and try to keep overall intake to less than 2000 per day (unless I do a long run or something). I can't remember the last time I had a donut, and I dont' eat a bunch of crap anymore. At the office I used to take detours so I could go by where the chocoalte was hiding in other people's cubes. Now I go right past them without stopping. Not hard to do once you get in the habit of doing it! If I start the marathon, rest assured I will finish it. I don't quit something once I start. Before I register I"m giong in to see the Dr to make sure I"m in prime health and able to survive an ordeal like this, so I'll let you know when I get those results back! Wish I had a syndrome outfit with flying shoes...I could finish the marathon in record time!
