However, I vote that the take the HISTA playground and blow the place to smithereens and put something new in its place. E-ticket, D-ticket, C-ticket, I don't care, as long as it's not a playground and people over the age of 10 can experience it.

Actually one of the Pixar films would be perfect. Let's face it the target audience for a play area watch animated films far more than live action. 'Bugs Life' would be the most economical but it's pretty dated for the little ones that would be using it. 'Toy Story' would fit pretty well by adding a few film specific items & still be able to use much of the oversized everyday items. With 3D coming out this summer it would be timely as well.

In fact, there's some great photo ops in there even if you aren't a parent. It's a good example of putting in a "play area" that works for the park that its located in. The other would be the Boneyard at DAK. Otherwise, play areas like Pooh's shouldn't even be considered for WDW. Would I rather see a decent ride attraction replace it? Yes, but only if it is BETTER than this. Not another spinner or cheap replacement. Retheming to "A Bug's Life" is probably the best (and most economical) idea for a Pixar themed play area in this location. Most young ones have no cluse about HISTK, but A Bug's Life they've probably seen. However, a good "C-Ticket" dark ride wouldn't be bad as a replacement, either. But, even if HISTK is left as is, I can certainly think of worse things that need redone at WDW right now.

A great place to play walkie talkie hide and seek, plus there is food service right next door for when we're done. It's a great attraction that maximizes entertainment in a small space. New rides are great but leave this classic alone.
