She would have a gown on, plastic jewelry, miss-matched shoes, and a bent tiara--and she was the most beautiful princess in all the world!

I'm not being difficult or disingenous when I say that it would have to be a least one huge cd full of songs to fully describe me.

Louis' version of "What a Wonderful World" makes me think of the 4th of July fireworks here in Phoenix (they do a set of them to his song) and that makes me think of the national anthem. So, just for today, at this moment in time, disregarding the oodles of songs that hold tender spots in my heart and soul, I will say: The Star-Spangled Banner and America the Beautiful.

*special shout-out to everyone else here from other nations. Watching the Olympics and listening to everyone's national anthems is just plain heart-warming.

**extra special shout-out to our military families today. xoxo

Great movie; great song. I thought LuLu was sooooo cool. (Just like LP's LuLu)

Okay. Here's a quintessential song for me: it will be in my top five for sure..."Somewhere Over The Rainbow".

    "If happy little bluebirds fly
    Beyond the rainbow
    Why, oh why can't I?"

Oh and 'The wonderful thing about Tiggers' DH says it describes me quite well LOL!

I really liked the song before I got married but when I was planning my wedding, my mom told me this story about when she married my dad, at the reception an extremely close friend of my mom's - actually I guess you could call her my mom's mentor or hero asked that they play that song for mom. I thought it would be a really great tribute to my mom to play that same song while she walked me down the aisle.

My other favorite was our first dance song - its called Unloved by Brooks and Dunn. I know its sounds like a bad song - but it's actually meaning that you'll never be unloved, not that you are unloved!

    (Ironman should appreciate this...) ;)

    I know you know
Just how it goes when it goes
    And how it feels
To be lost and left alone on your own
    And what it's like
To give all you got and have to stand and watch it
    As it walks away
So everyone deserves a chance to live and learn
    From mistakes
That we make and hearts that break and bridges burn
    Starting now
From this moment on nothing's gonna go wrong
    Love is here to stay

    You'll never be without
    You'll always have enough
    When you're in my arms
    You'll never go unloved
As long as there is time
And for all of it to come
No matter where you go I want you to know
    You'll never be unloved

So in this life we lead
    Some things are guaranteed
You can count on the fact that hearts won't act responsibly
    Now and then
Comes a love that's heaven sent and meant to be
    So baby look at me

    You'll never be without
    You'll always have enough
    When you're in my arms
    You'll never go unloved
As long as there is time
And for all of it to come
No matter where you go I want you to know
    You'll never be unloved

    You'll never be without
    You'll always have enough
    When you're in my arms
    You'll never go unloved
As long as there is time
And for all of it to come
No matter where you go I want you to know
    You'll never be unloved
