Maybe it would be better to just do the hotel pool, an early Thanksgiving dinner someplace nice (if I can get reservations at this point), and just kind of relax. Knott's has the roller coasters, Camp Snoopy (your son may be too old for this), a ghost town, and a whole slew of other rides. Check out there website and if needed inquire about their height restrictions as this might influence your decision. Most hotels will hold your luggage for free, although a few will charge you a locker rental (that are pretty good sized) so double check with your hotel before making a decision. There's also a Marketplace just outside the park full of resturants that you might consider making an early dinner reservation at. Just be sure to leave yourself plenty of time to get from Knott's back to your hotel and to the airport as there will be traffic on the highways.
Originally Posted By fkurucz Beware of traffic. We went to Universal on Saturday and it took almost 2 hours to get back to Anaheim. Being nearby, Knott's won't have that problem. But make sure you give yourself time to get to the airport (especially if it LAX).
