We have Deluxe APs and it is my understanding (please correct me if I'm wrong) that Thanksgiving is a blackout day for our APs. What would you do with that day? We will not have a car, so it needs to be something easy via mass transport/tour bus, etc. Also, we need to get back to the OC airport by ~ 7:30 or 8:00 pm for our flight home.

We have never done Knotts. Do you think that would be fun? Also, any ideas what to do with our bags for the day? I guess we would have to leave our luggage at our disney area hotel, get to Knott's, get back to our Disney area hotel to get our bags, and then get to the airport by 7:30. Too much? Any other ideas?

Maybe it would be better to just do the hotel pool, an early Thanksgiving dinner someplace nice (if I can get reservations at this point), and just kind of relax. Of course, having to be out of the hotel by noon, is kind of a drag. I'd love any suggestions!

    Thanks, Lysa

Knott's has the roller coasters, Camp Snoopy (your son may be too old for this), a ghost town, and a whole slew of other rides. Check out there website and if needed inquire about their height restrictions as this might influence your decision.

Most hotels will hold your luggage for free, although a few will charge you a locker rental (that are pretty good sized) so double check with your hotel before making a decision. There's also a Marketplace just outside the park full of resturants that you might consider making an early dinner reservation at.

Just be sure to leave yourself plenty of time to get from Knott's back to your hotel and to the airport as there will be traffic on the highways.

Being nearby, Knott's won't have that problem. But make sure you give yourself time to get to the airport (especially if it LAX).
