What use to be were the viewing area is for WOC?

Go to Google and type California Adventure. Then click maps at the top. In maps click satellite and zoom it and you'll see the old plaza from the air. You can also use Bing Maps to see a birds eye view, which allows you to see the spot at a slight angle.

I seem to recall many events in this area before it became a smoking area...Originally a performance "Professioanal Tumblers" were scheduled. Then Soap Opera Weekend Stage for Celebrities. Then the monthlong Summer Music live performances. And one year an ice skating rink for Mickey and Minnie and Disney characters. Or maybe that was just in my imagination. For the record I have always liked DCA.
