The reason why i don't think it will is because after they are done with the makeover i don't think they will add more to dca for a while and will probably go back to adding new attractions to disneyland for a while and even if they do add new attractions I don't think they will be frequent enough to really have a whole preview center for. I mean if Disneyland had a preview center, the only two things in the exibit currently would be for the disney gallery and the new lincoln show, so it wouldn't really be enough to do a whole preview center for. so I don't see the preview center really lasting past the redo. preview centers are generlly only popular when a new park or a building boom is under construction.

I've heard that they might be moving it to the Carthay Circle Theater building near the front of the park once they build it, but I've also heard that there will be a Clubb 33-type restuarant there, so I don't know. It is officially the "Disneyland Resort" preview center, so they could always have exhibits about stuff that they're putting into DL, the hotels, DTD, and eventually a third park.

Also, if/when they eventually add another park, it will probably be to the southeast of DCA, which would put DCA in the center of the resort. Whether or not they add a new entrance to the park in the back, it will sort of become the center of things.

If they are only going to have one preview center, it makes sense to me to have it in a central location to everything. It would also be a semi-logical place for them to put a gallery or history exhibit, and just sort of make it the 'center' of the resort, even if people really go to DLR for Disneyland itself. It gives it a bit of a purpose other than just the 'other' park.

After all of DCA has been finished, they could use this for some sort of Wine Country based exhibit. After all, it's right next to the Golden Vine Winery.

Perhaps some sort of film explaining how wine grapes are planted, and grown, and are harvested, tracing the process through the year. The seasons of the vine could be explained with captivating images, narration and music.

    Or something like that...

Re-open the high-end restaurant as a dinner only venue, have regular wine tastings in the afternoon. Continue to operate the wonderful Italian Trattoria and return the wine experts and "Seasons of the Vine" film to the barrel room building. These little filler attractions really are some of the hiden gems in Disney's theme park arsenal. And with the much increased attendance I expect to see inside DCA in a couple years I would imagine the winery and its multiple venues - with their prime location - could certainly draw a crowd.

There won't be anything notable at DL for many many years, if ever. That's my prediction. Tomorrowland is most likely the next thing up for something new, but beyond that I can't see anything major being *added* to DL as long as DCA has room to expand (expansion phase II?) and there's that strawberry field available for development. The future and growth of DLR lies outside the berm.

My guess (or hope) is that if DCA's "makeover" is a success, there will be some sort of revamp of the winery and it will return to its original glory.

It's in a great spot and i like it. =)

I also recall some talk about making changes/additions to HPB including revamping the Hyperion the exterior of theater. If you watch the DCA preview center video you can see a short clip of the Hyperion with a completely different facade sans the faux sky backdrop. Where is bean? He/she used to be very good at keeping these boards in the know about this stuff.

Did you mean southWEST? Southeast would be right in the middle of restaurants and hotels on Harbor, unless I'm missing something.

More than likely, in that time span, they will build a new parking structure at Pumbaa and/or Simba. But you need the extra spaces before closing the lot that you will build the structure on.

With the economy they way it is, I seriously doubt that Disney would build a third park on the site, even if it was just one big strawberry field with no parking.

    Nothing is being lost....
