    Tamales
    Chili Verde
    Swiss Steak
    Chiliquiles
    Prime Rib
    Artichoke/Spinach Dip

    Misc:
    Making invitations for everyone's parties
    Organizing family events/vacations
Cutting round circles by hand (LOL)

I drive everyone everywhere it seems.
I'm Mr. Fix-it. I do all the handywork in our house.
Information guide on all things Indian within my family. <sigh>
    Disneyland expert <sigh>

The list goes on and on...

    What about you?

Which ones do you enjoy and always happy to do and which ones are you secretly wishes others would figure out how to do cause you are sick of being the "it" person?

Relationships, work, money, even car troubles - general gripes and dislikes about whatever their situation is. One friend has a boyfriend who broke up with her via e-mail, and now wants to get back together again. Another one is out of work, but is due to inherit some money soon and doesn't want to go back to work right away, so instead he practically starves.

There troubles seem endless, and the way they bring them to me, it's as if they think that I have the answers. Sometimes I actually do.

Other things - my place seems to be the spot where people want to gather. Usually before we then go off and do something else. Or just come by and hang out. I've got a nice place, I live alone, there's plenty of parking right out front, and I've usually got a fairly well stocked kitchen - and wine cabinet.

I'm also very useful when it comes to moving heavy objects.

Honestly, I don't always love it and sometimes I hate it but it's been the status quo for so long that a) I'm pretty used to it and b) I feel like if I put my foot down and refused to do it, nothing would ever get done!!

    - advice - business, legal, disney, travel, presentation skills, IT and governmental
    - honesty
    - cooking

And a part of me loves it, and a part of me feels drained by it. And it makes it hard for me to sometimes seek support because I do not want to be a drain on someone else!

I'm the go-to "CYA" person for communications/events within the Nevada division of our company. Been here long enough (32 years) to know what can and can't/should and shouldn't be done within a combination management/non-union/union "house."

And I'm the go-to person for a myriad of questions/issues. If I don't have the answer (and I usually DO have it), I know where to find it.

Thankfully I have these skills... No one's ever said to me "I've GOT to have your..." fill in the blanks with any type of prepared dish. *LOL* Though I do make darn good guacamole, spaghetti sauce, potato salad and dark chocolate/eggnog bread pudding. ;-)
