For me it has great repeatability. No it isn't thrilling, and it's not charming or enchanting in the way that some Disney attractions are. But for a ride that is just plain FUN, I think Soarin' is the best that Disney has.

After about ten rides on Soarin' over the course of two years, I got pretty burned out on it. So, I have deliberately stayed away, even during those times of no waiting, since Spring 2003. During a trip to WDW last month, I decided to see how the Epcot flavor of Soarin' differed from DCA's. Staying away all that time, "freshened up" the attraction considerably; I really enjoyed it again. And it was really cool during the opening sequence, when the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco first appear beyond the clouds. The guy sitting next to me went "OOOOH!" I pointed to the screen and proudly stated, "That's my home." He said it looked cool. I totally agree! You can't have moments like that in DCA, with the "hometown crowd."

I know I'd love it if some of my favorite rides from my DLP trip could be experienced at WDW, particularly their versions of Thunder Mountain and Haunted Mansion. Everyone during both my shows really loved the ride and cheered when it was over. It was great to see folks so psyched about a new attraction.

Then again I haven't been there, just have seen pics so maybe it's amazing but I would never ever want WDW's HM to go anywhere. I have no idea what BTMR is like at DLP though and although I like it at WDW it could be longer.

DLP's Thunder is the best!! >>^^^It is longer, and the train goes underground!<< Not only is it longer, and goes underwater *twice* but it's also the fastest Big Thunder to date!! ..and while DLP's incorporates pretty much a similar track design to it's counter parts in TDL and WDW, the show aspects of DLP's version are different....more AA's in some scenes, exploding mine instead of stale earthquake scene at the MK. Etc etc... DLP's Big Thunder rocks!
