When are holiday decorations/overlay up?

    If this year is like past years the decorations go up the month of November not all at once overnight-so there will be some up, if not all by then.

    Veteran's Day is Tuesday, November 11th. (And why Disneyland is open until Midnight on the 10th and 11th).

    So as I understand it, Disney want to try and get all the Halloween stuff removed by Friday the 7th, for the Veteran's Day weekend. Of course, the big Pumpkin will be the firsgt thign removed, but you should see the park pretty much free of decorations by the 7th.

    Then starting the 12th, you will start to see things go up for Christmas, starting with NOS and the Big Thunder Ranch area.

    One of the last things to get decorated is Main Street, with the new "faux" tree being installed after closing on November 20th.

    It's fun to be there in the middle of their decorating. One day there's no tree, the next day, the entire tree is up and decorated. I can't even get that done in one day at home. ;-)
