However when I talked to a CM at the park yesterday, Sunday, I was told the parade may continue until Thanksgiving more or less and the Fireworks may be changed because of improvements in technology. Management is changing at the park and at this time no decisions are being made. Diane, this is the best I can do.

They said that the 50th decorations, etc. would be removed "sometime during late September" to make way for the Halloween and Holiday decorations, but that the parades and fireworks would continue for "some time after that" (no specific date given). This info. seems to be the same as what other people have mentioned on here also. We were originally going to visit DL in October but have now changed our dates to the 2nd week in Sept. so that we can see everything related to the 50th. We have 39 days to go and can't wait!
