Backstory: I am the team photographer for the Long Beach Armada baseball team. I was also the Booster Club vice president last year. Well the last game of the season he got into my face and wanted to fight me because I did not give him a free team photo, which I was selling. He demanded one and said he does more for the team than anyone blah blah blah. Than he threw insults my way and I jumped on him. Anyways he was escorted out of the stadium. So now he has gone around to alot of the fans and even the new GM of the team and told them I was stealing money from the team and stealing money from the boosters to do my photography business. Which of course I never did. Any money for my photography came out of pocket (ink, paper, lens rental, new equipment, packaging, etc.) Over the course of the season I lost money because I do not charge the players for photos and only charge their parents my cost with no profit. The only people I charged were the general fans. Anyways, I have now gotten 3 and 1 more has just come in while I am typing this. Accusing me of stealing and calling me a cheat and basically bad mouthing me. I have tried my best to explain the situation and they understand but it just irks me that he is going around doing this. Tell them that you appreciate their call. Ask for their name & contact information, and let them know that you are taking notes on your conversation, to build up evidence for your slander suit. That usually stops everyone cold, and you can bet that the information will get back to the offending party. I loathe buttheads.
