We have a huge issue with illegal immigration and there are detention centres up and down the country while they await deportation. Although I love America, it is not the only desireable country. I miss the nature, the houses, the service standards and Disney, but I prefer in the main living in Europe. Every 6 months or so I question whether we should return to the US, and I always come to the conclusion we are probably better of over here, especially with the current administration.

There are 3 countries I would really love to visit for their history, but not to live. And I don't believe it's a good thing to live in a state of perpetual ignorance about the rest of the world. In many ways, we have a lot of things better here than in other countries. But on many things, crucial things like healthcare, we don't. If you spend your whole life in Indiana (just an example) except for the once a year trip to WDW (where you stay on-site only, of course) and, perhaps, a road trip to Iowa at Christmas to visit Grandma, you have a very narrow worldview. <<Normally when people see it differently it's because the U.S.A. is not all they invision it should be.
