I remember reading the plaque some months back, but can't remember where. The CM's didn't now for sure either. I went looking for it last night. Couldn't find it. Can anybody help?
Originally Posted By leemac It always used to be outside the park in front of the turnstiles, dead center, facing the parking lot. I presume it is still there. It is hexagonal (or octagonal) bronze and features the park's dedication date (which wasn't October 1).

It sounds like they used the framework from the original DL dedication, and just replaced words and phrases to make it unique. For me it's not unique enough - it should have been something entirely new. Not a biggie, just a small peeve . . .

MK & Epcot's dedication were big epic accomplishments for their relative point of time. The McParks and even MGM were more along the lines of a product launch to me.
