    Ariel is on the parade floats but if it's the mermaid tail your daughter wants to see the Grotto is the place to be, on the float she's in a princess dress. Oh and deffinatly see Mickey's Philar Magic Ariel is featured in that. :) have a fun vacation

    I would not know, since Ihave never done either grottos, but I understand Ariel at TDS is bustier...

    The queue wraps around a water playground. So if you're inclined, bring some close that your child can get wet in and they can run around while one family member waits in the queue.

Both times they allowed me to take a picture of her with Ariel and her mermaid fin, sitting on a rock (Or imitation coral) . There was a Disney photographer also there who handed you a number to check out their professional picture on your way out of the park. It was around $25 for the package..so cheapy me said no to that. But the wait was o.k. and daughter was happy, so parents get a snack and wait, it's worth it.
