where to rent a vehicle for 7 adults 1 child?

    We will have a wheel chair, stroller, 7 adults and a 3 yr old (booster seat). Plus all the luggage that a group that big generates.

    I would check to see if any rent a passenger van like the sprinter or something like that. I have fit all that (less the wheel chair)into both my SIL suburban - and my Excursion - the excursion was an easier fit. You may be able to get a vehicle with a wheelchair rack on the back.

    Now me, my DW, and our 6 CHILDREN fit somewhat ok. If yoy only had 6 adults and one car seat, you could get away with it, but some of the luggae still would be an issue.

    That was an old suburban but now an Excursion is about the same size as an old suburban maybe a little bigger...
    I think it's possible you just have to know how to pack a car well.

We don't have luggage, they were mostly backpacks and they numbered 30, counted by the bell person. It was an easy fit and we added about 4 big bags of merchandise bought at the parks on the return trip. It was not a difficult fit but I do admit that only one member of our family is overweight, my husband. He drove and I shared the front bench seat with enough room left for a ninth person if we had one.

    I think the Excursion is a bit bigger but I don't think they make them any more, do they?
