I found the openness of the table area offers a good way for the kids to get up and interact with the characters. Storyteller's is nice, but it felt more claustrophobic and the characters were only your more "woodsy" types, bears and chipmunks.

With my son, I think I would have been better off with Mickey, or Donald or Goofy... Depends on the kids (or adults), I guess. Food was good though. The Mickey waffles were a hit.

Chip and Dale were the only characters my kids recognized. The others were less well known animals from various movies.

When staying at PPH we really liked Lilo and Stitch which is now Mickey and Friends. The food was GREAT and it may be our timing but it never seems to be crowded so the characters are wandering around looking for someone to hang out with

Ariel's Lunch was alot of fun for my 4 year old daughter, the princesses were a big hit. Next time we'll try PCH and Storytellers.

Originally Posted By sjdimon <<Not to be gross cptmemo but I have to ask about the throwing up >> I would equate this to the excitement of the meal, not to the food itself (however, there are a LOT of sweets along the dessert area that could be overeaten and result in someone getting sick to their stomach). Interaction with the characters is encouraged (though NOT required), and there are a number of times every hour that they "dance around" waving napkins and getting a little "Goofy" (pardon the pun!) I am sure that this over-excitement has caused more than one child to become a bit ill.
