It was about two weeks ago when we were having huge rainstorms down here. I was at the Hollywood Studios for Star Wars Weekends. I went to the studio catering comapny for lunch, as you could imagine, it was completely packed due to the rain. I walked araound with my tray for about twenty minutes, finally I notice a two-top table with two women that are getting ready to leave. I wait until both of them have gotten out of their chairs and then I went over and put my tray down. They were still standing by the table. One of the women gave me a nasty look and told me that she had planned to give both of the chairs to another group of people and that this was her table. She didn't even want the table she just wanted the chairs. So with this entire area being over run with people, she leaves on of the tables chair-less and snapped at me for trying to sit there. Who was in the wrong, her for taking control of the table after she was done eating, or myself for putting my tray down when they were still close to the table?

It always amazes me how rude & inconsiderate some folks can be.

You did nothing wrong, don't you worry. There are some very pleasant people with common sense and consideration. Don't be dismayed.

It's just one of those situations.

Take leave of the chaos and let them have it. You have a good idea that it's not going to be a pleasant dining experience. (And from what you say, it wasn't.)

I would have either gone somewhere else or left and come back in an hour....
