Since the show is the "Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular," most of the cast members are referred to as stunt doubles. I believe one is referred to as a stunt actor since he does his own stunts, yet he also acts in films.

I believe they also had an Indy character as part of an Indy "Parade of Joneses" promo stunt in the park prior to the ride opening. They had a bunch of people with the last name of Jones parade up Main Street. They were stopped part way by a "bad guy", but Indy appeared to save the day. Also, I'm told that during an Annual Passholder exclusive party held prior to the opening of the ride, where they let AP's walk through the queue, there was an Indy character. I didn't see him because I went through late in the evening and he wasn't around by then. While they used an Indy character for events like the ones I just mentioned, I'm not aware of one out for guests and I was there quite a bit that year. They did have a "Comedy 911" (or something like that) troup around in Adventureland for awhile to entertain guests when the ride opened.
