Moving the Tinkerbell thing to that area next year is not a reason to stop this year, and is an arbitrary decision anyway. Just one more special thing discontinued by Disney.

There were characters there, but they were in a far corner of the room and you had to seek them out. At Storyteller's and PPH, there's no way to avoid them, even if they don't approach your table. Not my wife and her mother's idea of a nice lunch.

Seriously, I think the loss of the buffet is really stupid. Even if that space will be taken over by the marathon event next year, why not simply move the buffet to another location? What, there aren't any convention facilities in the other DLR properties? Only the DLR Hotel? Total BS. There's a large ballroom at the GCH. So why not have the buffet there? I think DLR wasn't making the huge profit margin on the buffet that they desired so ditched it instead of tweaked it. Yup. Charge through the roof for made-to-order meals in order to squeeze a few more pennies from the guests.
