The result is that the buggy is practically into the long hallway with the coffin by the time the spiel has ended. Perhaps they thought that they needed to reduce the chatter at that point. Also, people who go through the ride multiple times tend to recite the script like it's the pledge of allegiance or a midnight showing of the rocky horror show. Anything they can do to reduce that is an "improvement".
