Do I invest in Rock Band 2 or Guitar Hero: World Tour? I heard that the Wii version of the first RB skimped on features(character creation). Naturally I'd like to get the best one, which do you guys think?

    Rock Band:
the drums don't fold so either have to be taken down completely or left up.
    You can sing

    Guitar Hero:
    Drums fold
    Has Cymbals
    No Singing
    Can be customized band
    Has a beginner mode

There are more tracks on GH, a mixing studio, a jam session, and there are various settings to accommodate different levels.

But I am biased, as I also own GH3 (my fav). And Aerosmith Addition. It took 20 hours of play on Easy to complete GHWT on guitar (now working on drums), whereas RB was more like 5.

The reasoning on switching games was that you can play guitar hero on rockband - but not the other way around. Now I am not sure if that works on the wii or if it's just for the ps3 - with that they already had guitar hero aerosmith for the ps3 so that gave them the extra guitar.

I only go to the gamer store for information - if I already know what I am buying I can go anywhere.
