I well remember the times before Free Dining" Like any other incentives buisnesses develope they are for the most part intended to be temporary. This has gone on much longer than I thought it would in it's original format. It has indeed done what was intended. It has filled a lot of rooms in what has historically been a down time. Apparently it filled more Value rooms than Mod or Deluxe. Hence the new move. As was pointed out you can stay @ a Value and pay for your food for about the same as a Mod with free dining and much less than a Deluxe with free dining. I want WDW to improve and take care of some of their many operational issues. If free dining(in it's current form) is in any way siphoning money that could otherwise be used for improvements I'm for seeing it changed or even eliminated. Of course I realize it puts a lot of bodies in otherwise empty rooms but @ what cost. There is a litany of issues/problems that come along with who & when these guests fill those rooms. Remeber this is just one woman's opinion.
