At the very least, I'd expect the huge mirror to be removed as its core purpose was to anchor WDW's approach to celebrating the 50th as a worldwide anniversary of Disney theme parks. Personally, I definetely want the mirror and the golden characters to be removed. Some of the gold bunting/ropes should go too. However, I would like to see them keep and/or make more permanant the golden swirls and the pixie dust/silver swirls around the turrets. I think they do add a bit more fantasy and class to the castle. That said, I'd love to see it just return to the original castle appearance.

The castle was completely covered over. The 50th celebration overlay is much less obtrusive, and you can see where parts of it are just much more decorative for the castle.

I would have just liked more of a subtle look. I don't really get why they have to plus-up the park icons anyways. I liked Spaceship Earth without the "party" decorations. The hat at Disney/MGM is fine, but did they have to block the Chinese Theater? I do love seeing the parks dressed up, but i just don't like too much messin' around with the park icons. They are what leave a lasting memory for most Guests, and I think the impression they make should not have to depend on what is being marketed, ahem... I mean "celebrated" at the time.

Maybe once the celebration ends, WDW will send these statues over to WDSP so they can use them there? I don't know if that's really the case, but it's what popped into my head when reading the updates about WDSP.

They do have the small bronze statues that you see around the MK hub at the moment. It would be nice to see the characters put to good use elsewhere but I can't seem to imagine where they would go.
