Epcot has reportedly seen a steady increase in popularity and crowds since Soarin' opened and the new Nemo ride is sure to bring in more of the younger family group, so perhaps Epcot really needs this pavilion for the busy holiday season. On the other hand, perhaps there is a pavilion in Future World scheduled to close for refurbishment that has not yet been announced. Many who only really remember Horizons from the last years are left with this altered memory of it. Disney reopened Horizons in a very neglected state. Not only did they not prep Horizons for reopening or did they communicate well that, in fact, it was reopened, but they never maintained it nightly once it was reopened. It was already doomed so they basically ran it into the ground. So, when I hear things like Horizons was never popular or Horizons was outdated, it becomes very frustrating. Because most of that belief derives from Disney's own self-infliction. And of course Disney is fine with people thinking that. It helps justify their move. So, back to your point, I would hate to see them reopen WoL if it will exhibit nothing but poor show.
