I thought I had no chance of getting it since I'd be out the first part of the school year with Jacob and that's when a lot of important testing and stuff will be done but the principal decided to take me for it anyway! Not only that, I get one on one training for it during this school year so I don't have to try and learn the program over the summer or in the fall!

Now I just have to go through EVERYTHING in my classroom, sort through it all, and find somewhere to store all of my personal teaching supplies!

Any teacher who chooses to work with the kids that need extra help is an EXTRA special person!

I spent all day yesterday looking at everything in my room and trying to figure it all out! :)

Congrats, I could have taught at community college, but the college that offered me the part time 1 course a week job is 2 hours away...

I could also take Teachers College paid for if I agree to do a term up north, however I don't want to live where your groceries are air dropped in...

I can imagine that there probably isn't too much room for personal items as you're sharing it with other teachers. Maybe the room could be rearrainged in such a way as to acommodate some of your materials? I know that the room that I was in this semester wasn't too large but was divided into two areas, and if needed could accommodate a third (tiny though). There were 5 teachers (one main+4 parapros) and it seemed like teaching material was in every nook and cranny.

I'm hoping a position comes up at the local college so I can teach, and put another thing on my resume, you must be smart :) I'm smart but it usually ends with another word for arse.
