I would suspect that if it ever was officially called that, they switched to FON just because WFF is just a mouthful to say. Maybe they changed it when they were doing one of the shows there in the 80's and the name stuck.

It's kind of like the Vic Perrin narration on SE. How many people remember even hearing that narration? MOst people would tell you that Walter Cronkite was the original narrator. Personally, I like the name Fountain Of Nations. It has a much better ring to it and it's a great name that segues Future World into World Showcase. World Fellowship Fountain sounds more like a place to bring our hymnals to and rejoice! BUT, if they bring back Horizons, I'll rejoice and go along with the WFF name and sing a few passages.
