We would start our world showcase experience by riding the bus from Mexico to Canada, and then walk around the countries. The drivers were knowledgable about each country and the would tell of any attractions going on.
When we got tired we would get on the bus and ride to the country that had the restaurant that we wanted to visit.
That was before the dining plan and you could walk into any restaurant you wanted to.
The food was good and not too expensive.
Losing the buses was a major to loss to us.

They're probably worried about possible gridlock between the buses and all the ECV's.
